... and I survived. Oh, and Jacob did too. Although, my predictions all along have been that Wednesday would be hard on me and Friday would be hard on Jacob (once he realized that I wasn't just right outside the door and he can't just go home whenever he wants). Friday the kids are taking a field trip to the water park at Crystal Mountain and I'm planning on attending/driving, even though they have enough drivers. I'm just not quite ready to let a complete stranger drive my 3 year old child around yet thankyouverymuch. So, Friday shouldn't be too hard on Jacob since I'll be around for a big part of his day, anyhow.
Jacob did great today though. He was excited about his own cubby and bringing his backpack to school. The teacher walked him into the classroom and lead him over to the play-doh table where another little boy showed him what they were doing and then asked him "can you talk?" If Jacob responded to his question, I didn't hear it! He's so shy sometimes! So at the end of the day I asked his teacher how he did and she said that he did great, no tears, but that he talked sooo quietly. She also said his favorite parts of the day involved arts and crafts.
Of course on the car ride home he was so loud I had to ask him repeatedly to be quiet!
My sweet baby boy is growing up :(

Awww, I was waiting for this post! I am glad you BOTH survived! Sounds like he's going to like it, I can't believe they have a field trip already? Thanks for sharing, where does the time go?!?!?!
