Fun at Kim and Peggy's!!

Brody was a little bit cranky... he has 3-4 teeth coming in (which finally includes that front bottom one, in addition to some top molars) AND he got dunked in the water shortly after this picture was taken when a strong wind came up and flipped the boat over. But, he loved the girls and Addison! Jacob wore Brody's life jacket a bit. Here he is with Roxy:

Peggy taught him some modeling poses:

We stopped in the Bay and jumped in the deep water:

Jacob swam great in the deep water with his life jacket and noodle!

What?! We don't have kids hanging on us??

Stubborn Brody finally decided to take a nap on the boat (don't worry, we blocked the sun after the photo was taken):

Brody snuggling his brother:

We had a great time downstate at Gun Lake with Kim and Peg, as always! And the good news is that the car ran GREAT! Speaking of which, the Rav4 is now for sale and we are in the market for a *gulp*... minivan... It's official, I'm no longer cool. I'm trying to get a black minivan to help a little bit with the coolness factor, but it's hard since they only made like 5 black minivans ever.
Let's see... what else? I've heard that the 3's are worse than the terrible 2's and Jacob is definitely showing us he is 3. Here is a pretty typical conversation in our house:
Me: Jacob, hands off Brody!
Jacob ignores me.
Me: One... Two...Thr..
Jacob NO MOM! NO!
Then it usually ends up with Jacob in a time out where he cries and then wipes his nose very aggressively which results in the lovely scratches you see in the pictures. We had his 3yr well child last week (just two months late, thanks to the dr's scheduling) and he said this self-mutilating behavior is pretty common at this age... if they aren't scratching themselves, they are banging their heads or pulling their hair. Great. He remains in the 25th percentile for height and weight, our little shorty!
Last week was pretty fun, we visited with Sarah and kids a bit and checked out the Cherry Festival. I'm on the laptop right now, and the pics are on my home PC so I'll upload those tomorrow. We have another ob appt then, so I'll update with any new info too.
In other news, the parents had a crazy weekend... Bruce experienced some sudden memory loss that landed him in the hospital overnight. It was like in an instant he lost most of his memories of the past 5 years. It has since came back and is still unexplained and random. We could use some prayers that it doesn't happen again!

Ooh, LOVE the snuggly picture!!!! You guys are so busy! Seems you are running here and there all the time! Whew! But good for you :-) Mom told me about Bruce - thought she was talking about Mark! LOL Hope it's nothing serious. Will be thinking about him.

I will def. be praying! This happened to a co-worker of G's about a year ago. He (in his 50s) was found wandering the halls of the school & didn't know where he was. They took him in and ran some tests & he was fine...they don't know why it happened & he has no memory loss except for the events of that day! Very scary stuff, though! We'll be praying!
