Today I had a rather unfortunate incident occur. You would have thought I learned from the dirt and medicine incident and explained to Jacob when what kinds of acceptable things you put into the dishwasher and what things are unacceptable. Obviously I did a poor job of that.
Today, my little dishwasher assistant was helping me with the dishes. I would rinse them off and he would load them in the dishwasher. As most people are aware, Jacob does NOT like getting wet. So after handling a few wet dishes, he decided the few drops of moisture on his clothes was just too much to take and he stripped down. Nothing unusual, he does this often - we just hope he grows out of it (although my brother never did... but I digress). So I now have a naked dishwasher assistant helping me out when it strikes me he is taking too long on his last dish. I glance over at the dishwasher and notice his peculiar posture and instantly realize what he is doing... peeing in the dishwasher. Trying to fill the little cup up. LOVELY. I start yelling and he just keeps on going. By the time I turned the water off and put the knife down, he was finished. He SAYS he knows that it was naughty, but I'm sure he was thinking "geez mom, what is a little pee going to hurt... you put dirt and medicine in that thing all the time?!"
The worst thing about this incident was realizing this is totally a boy thing - it would NEVER occur to a girl to pee in a dishwasher... and I have another one (maybe two) that is going to do this exact same stuff. Where o where will Brody decide to pee, just because?

Danielle this TOTALLY cracks me up (sorry, I know...). This is definitely one for the baby book...
LMAO!! OMG, I'm sitting here practically in tears reading this. Danielle, you have the best boy stories ever!
That is too funny! I guess in his mind, you have to put something in that cup!
Maybe you should reconsider Jacob's help in the kitchen?
I hope you were able to get Aaron to clean it up for you!
