Brody turned 5 months old! (Several days ago, whoops!) Over the weekend we decided it was time for some tough love. Brody, as you can tell, doesn't like to miss a meal. Especially at night. So Aaron and I decided it was time for a little CIO (Cry It Out). Monday evening was our first adventure with it. Brody went to bed about 9pm and slept until 1:11am. He then cried off and on then from 1:11 until 6:30am when I got him. So then Tuesday night we were prepared for a little more of the same. So Brody went down about 9pm and didn't.make.a.peep until 8:38am!!! Just so you know, this is NOT typical. CIO usually involves like a week of crying, for shorter and shorter periods of time. Of course, I didn't sleep that good. I kept waking and wondering why he wasn't crying. So I didn't know WHAT to expect for last night. Luckily, it was another good night. Again, he was asleep in his bed by 9pm and didn't make a peep until about 5:30am and then it was just a few "Eh, eh" noises so we let him go until about 6:30am (our agreed acceptable wake-for-feeding time). So not typical for CIO, but I'll take it!
Sooo, what else? Labor day weekend went really well. It was a perfect weekend for what may have been the last hurrah for the boat. The weather was hot and beautiful and the only way to spend the day was in the water. It felt heavenly. On our way back to the slip on Monday, Bruce stopped the boat in the deep, dark water and let us take a few high dives off the boat. It was so much fun and made me feel like a kid again!
I've had a harder time blogging lately because I find that most of the time I am on the computer I'm ChaCha-ing. I've become a ChaCha guide to make extra money from home. ChaCha is a human-powered search and answers service. We deliver answers via text or PC, anytime, anywhere. ChaCha does not charge it's users and asking questions from your cell phone is totally free! ChaCha's employees are paid through advertisement. It's not great money (.20cents a question), but it's something I enjoy doing and I can do it whenever I want, 24-7. If you want to become a guide too, sign up at http://search.chacha.com/guidesignupnow and use me as a referral! (danielleswitzer@gmail.com)
Jacob's potty training is going awesome! He is doing so good. We still have accidents and ironically enough, they all happen at home and not when we are out and about. He has lost his diaper tush though, so his pants look ridiculous on him. Bruce says we just need to get him some suspenders!
In other news, my friend Debby is VERY pregnant and we are anxiously awaiting the big news that baby brady is on his way! We can't wait :)

Thanks for the update! I am so excited about Jacob and his potty training you make me think that I'll be able to handle two under two!!!
I love all the pics, the water and blueness of it, I forget that color really exists out here in Arizona! The family picture turned out great! What great memories of the whole family. Thanks for sharing!
