My sweet Brody turned six months old yesterday! I can't believe it. He is still sleeping great, going to bed about 9pm, waking at 6am to eat and then sleeping late into the morning. He is such a happy guy and smiles and giggles for everyone. I discovered today that he is cutting his first tooth! It hasn't broken through yet, but you can see the little white tooth under his gums. Jacob was about 8 months when he got his first tooth, but I think 6 months is the average. On Wednesday we go in for his well baby check up.
In other news, I have something crazy going on with myself. I have a huge (like the size of an apple) red, swollen mass on my stomach. It started out like a spider bite and progressively got bigger, more red and more painful. And now, in the center is like an open, black wound. Saw the doc today and she said it is either a spider bite or a type of staph infection. I'm on antibiotics and will get rechecked on Thursday. Gross. And painful. Geesh.

6 mos already! Where has the time gone? Too funny about the girl at the park. Connor hasn't been after the ladies at the park yet but he has tried to escape into the parking lot unattended! Ack!
Did the docs seem concerned about the wound? I don't want to sound alarming but if there is a black hole and an apple-sized mass, I'm thinking it might need to be drained or packed. Please keep me updated on this! Are you still nursing? How long have you been on antibx? Have you had a fever? Ok, done playing nurse ;-)
