35/35
Yesterday marked my 35/35 date (35 weeks pregnant leaving only 35 days until my due date!) and in honor of the milestone, here is my favorite birth story.Pregnancy is still going good. I've felt a lot better lately than I did a few days/weeks ago so that has been nice although I have come down with a mild cold. This baby moves A TON and quite aggressively, which has me excited to see just how strong of a little guy he is once he is born! Also, I was excited to see that our hospital has lifted its h1n1 visitor restrictions meaning that siblings are now allowed to visit! This could easily change between now and Austin's birthday, but for now it's a good sign :) Although, I am a little nervous about Brody visiting - I just hope he isn't too sad to leave me after the visit. When Brody was born Jacob really surprised me and couldn't wait to leave the hospital (with or without me), he was not too comfortable there hopefully Brody will be the same.
Thanksgiving Recap
Things are going good here. We had a nice, low key Thanksgiving at my parents with Mark, Lisa and boys. Mom made a ton of food (including three salads... for six adults!!) and it was all delicious! Jacob and I skipped out on the fancy cake and made Christmas cupcakes instead and Jacob was very excited to make special cupcakes for his cousins :) The boys - all 6 of them ;) - played really well together. It's especially fun to watch Mason and Brody getting old enough to 'play' together and with their brothers. Friday we put up our Christmas tree and the boys are in awe, they sure make Christmas so fun :) Brody likes to throw all his toys into the tree. We aren't sure if he is trying to add his own "decorations" or use the tree as storage, but either way we know we are going to have to be careful when putting the tree away that we get everything out of it! Saturday we hung out with Mark and Lisa again and then Sunday it was off to church and a relaxing afternoon home. Brody News!
In very exciting Brody news... Brody used the potty!!!! I thought we were a long ways off from that, but he has gone once for us yesterday and then once again today! This was a big step because when I've set him on there in the past he usually looks at me like I'm crazy and then says "Stuck! Stuck!" and tries to break free from my grip! I was thinking this guy wouldn't be potty trained until college, but I have renewed hope! Other Randoms
Friday Aaron will be helping out at Jacob's preschool for a field trip... should be interesting! Aaron received another trial subpoena for Monday, hoping this is the last one!

Hey! Where'd the link go to that hillarious gal's birth? I just finished ready it! OMG! What a hoot she is! I love it when I stop by here and there is new material :-) Woohoo! And YA! for Brody! It does give hope, doesn't it? I just wish I could get Connor OUT of pull-ups...ugh.
Congrats on almost being done, why does it seem like everyone's pregnancies always go by quicker than your own? It sounds like Brody is leaving the tree alone besides throwing the toys into it?!?! O and I can't believe he's using the potty, still nothing from Cadence and FRUSTRATING! Hopefully Jacob won't play Dr. with Cadence when we're there to visit, LOL!!! Take it easy these next few weeks! Can't wait to hear the great news!
