Well, the big day is.... still undetermined! After a lot of thought, we decided on the 31st. We kept coming up with reasons why December 30th, 2009 was more convenient for Aaron and I, but why December 31st for the rest of Austin's lifetime would probably be better for him! So we informed Dr. Myers that we preferred that date and she said that she would see what is available, but there is a good chance it will have to be the 30th anyway! Oh well, at least it's not in our hands :) We will find out next week what the scheduled date and time is and it still could change after that, but hopefully not. Everything looks good with me and baby... blood pressure was 110/60, heart tones were good (although she didn't say the bpm), I gained like 4lbs I think (in a week - eek!), but I'll blame it on Austin because he had a little growth spurt- my fundal height measuring 40cm (a gain of 3cm in a week) ;). I'm officially 1cm dilated (yeah!), thick (boo), soft (yeah!) and posterior (boo!), overall though not too bad for 37 weeks. Oh, and my group b strep test was negative, meaning I won't need antibiotics during delivery (yeah!).
I guess I'll do another Baby Summary:
How far along I am: 37w1d
How I am feeling: Besides that one bad week, I've really been feeling great! I think I have my featherbed and chiropractor to thank... and I'm sure not working also makes a big difference. Honestly, I feel more like I'm 27wks along rather than 37wks. I don't know why I was feeling so bad at 33wks, but I'm glad to be feeling better!
Cravings: Christmas cookies - yum! And now Coldstone Creamery Ice Cream Cake (thanks, Lisa!)... I'm thrilled to have so many occasions to eat/buy cake this time of year. I was not so lucky when pregnant with Brody as you may recall...
What I'm looking forward to: Christmas! Although, because the roads have been so bad lately I am way behind on my Christmas shopping :( I'm also looking forward to our "Maternity Prepared Stay" appointment at the hospital tomorrow. Officially, it is kind of boring because it is just filling out forms and signing things like consent to anesthesia (epidural, please!) and circumcision, but it's exciting because it means we are CLOSE! Also, it means lunch date for Aaron and I, thanks to careful scheduling on my part ;) I'm also obviously looking forward to meeting our baby in about 2 weeks!
Concerns: Ya, starting to get freaked out about actually having the baby... you know the whole pain thing. Also, we've had a child coming to our bed a lot lately in the middle of the night, at first it was Brody since he was fighting a cold but now it seems to be Jacob. He sneaks in quiet as a mouse and once you realize he is there we've been too sleepy to put him back. It definitely needs to stop though because Austin has already made his reservation in his bassinet and bedside buffet! Only 1 child in bed at a time, please! Well, I prefer none but they say babies should eat every few hours so...
Until next week!

What is it with those 3 y.o.s? Connor's been doing the same thing! And I refuse to get out of bed so there he stays. Gonna have to get him to stay in his bed soon too.
GL with the date! Hope it works out one way or another. Maybe you'll just go on your own anyway :-)
Can't wait to hear when the big day is and so glad we'll be in town for it!!! We're ready to meet you Baby Austin! Thinking about you lots as you prepare for baby #3 and a family of 5!!!! Stay warm!

When I went to schedule Ally's c-section, I got my 3rd choice.
I'm so glad you're feeling well... it's won't be long now!
