I'm a minivan owner. I can already hear the 'kids' in their 20's calling me "ma'am". The process was smooth and quick and now I am just trying to figure out all the bells and whistles! I didn't take any pictures because it rained all day long, but I'll get some soon! The kids LOVE it, but Aaron and I are now afraid that they are going to turn into zombies and expect to watch a movie every time we go get groceries or whatever. Now I just need to get new tires and receive my new gps from Amazon and we'll be good to go! October has been an expensive month and it's only the 7th - Eeek!
My appointment was a very long wait for a very quick appointment. My doctor came in and discovered that I had been there an hour and they had not given me the glucola to drink and was ticked. So she listened (140's), measured (29cm - 2cm ahead like last time) and then whisked me to the front desk to have my correct labs ordered. As I was scheduling my appointment I was thinking "shoot, I had questions!" The only thing I could remember was about getting the flu shot and the receptionist informed me they recommend it for all patients and a nurse will prepare it right then. So I got my shot, took my lab slip and was on my way! Oh and my blood pressure was 120/72 and I think I gained about 8lbs - yikes! I went to the hospital today to take care of the labs and I should hear back tomorrow if it's bad and nothing if it's fine. My next appointment is in TWO weeks - wow, I'm already on the two week schedule - with a different doctor in the practice. I haven't done a thing for this little guy yet and I'm already on the two week schedule - Ahhh! And, they gave me the sheet to call the hospital and make an appointment for registration, signing of consent forms for epidural, circumcision, etc. Is it really that close? To be honest though, I'm not that concerned about it, but I do think I better start picking up some diapers here and there to build up our supply!
Jacob had preschool this morning and I wasn't sure how it would go because I've been the parent helper the last three times (although mom went in one of those days), so I was a little worried he would get used to us being there. But he didn't seem to care at all when I left this morning so that made me feel good. Mom picked him up since things weren't moving too quickly for me at the hospital lab (imagine that!) and then he didn't even want to come home! So, he is at Grandma's house now and Brody and I are hanging out. We'll pick up Jacob later tonight at the church when we go for that parenting group.

Congrats on the mini!!! New cars are always so fun, can't wait to see pics!
I can't believe how soon you'll be the mom of three boys!!! Seems like the more you have the faster the pregnancy goes! Here's to hoping I'll get to meet the lil' guy when I am home at Christmas!
