Cupcakes!

Jacob and I made some cupcakes on Thursday in order to take some cute photos for Brody's first birthday invitation. Of course, I ended up picking a picture that doesn't include the cupcake! Jacob prefers to call cupcakes "dirt" because after a few bites, that is what they mostly resemble to him... I crack up every time he says "Mom, can I have some more dirt please?"





These pictures were going great... until I realized there was a TWO on his hat!!!! Whoops, now where did that #1 go... Aaron recommended that these photos be destroyed because when we are old we are going to look back at these and be like "Oh, there is Brody when he was two..."

Weaning is going pretty good! Brody is very random about drinking formula... Saturday he drank about 12oz (Yeah!), but today he had another slow day. As you can tell from the photos, he still has a cute little tummy despite the weight loss! What else? It's bitter, bitter cold here again. Right now it's -2, this morning it was -15. Aaron was thinking about taking a few hours off to go snowboarding... can't imagine why he changed his mind!!! Because of he weather and some mild colds the boys both have we've been staying in a lot lately. So far the cabin fever hasn't gotten too bad though. Can we make it the rest of the week, hmmmm....
