Hanging out at our place playing Hold 'em:

Getting drinks at the Thistle:

It was very sunny in there:

The day was a little too exciting for Brody, he missed out on the Thistle:
We got some skiing and boarding in, the weather was beautiful!!!
We also watched the slush cup:

Brody wasn't a huge fan of snowboarding:
Jacob took a few runs on the bunny hill too, looks like he and Cori were too cool for this photo:
And our very own slush cup competitor (Scott's friend Dave):

Good effort, you've got it in the bag for next year, Dave!!
We had so much fun with everyone this weekend, we can't wait to do it again next year! The weekend was filled with great food, cold drinks, skiing, snowboarding, hold 'em, and just a little beer pong :) Oh, but the real highlight of the weekend was when Scotty informed someone via text that he was playing games "...with a bunch of old women". Wow, I've reached the point where high schoolers look at me as an old woman. No wonder I never got carded all weekend... :\
Lots of surprises this weekened... I was quite surprised to see how fast Scotty picked up snowboarding, you seriously would have thought he has been doing it for years now! Additionally, I couldn't believe Kim's skills! She's skied before, but said she wasn't very good so I couldn't believe how well she did - even on the blue runs! I should have known since she is athletic... And then I was REALLY surprised when Dave signed up for the slush cup! We joked all week that Peggy was going to be out there and then it turns out someone in our group participated after all! Although, I did feel really bad for his crash! It must not have been that bad though... he changed his shirt and coat and then continued boarding for hours afterwards wearing wet pants and boots!! Good thing it was so warm and sunny out! And finally, I couldn't believe how big little Robert is getting! He is SO cute and has the funniest pouty/sad face you have ever seen. It breaks your heart, but it's adorable at the same time!
Thanks everyone for driving up! I really hope we can make it an annual event!
