After a HUGE winter it was no surprise when rain came and had nowhere to go since the ground was still frozen and caused lots of flooding. What WAS surprising was an unexpected and huge rainstorm that occurred on September 5th causing record setting river levels. Our basement did not fare well and unfortunately we had to throw a lot of things out. Fortunately though, our appliances all were unscathed (treadmill, washer, dryer).
