Now that the parents live in Elk Rapids, we took advantage of the convenient access to the Harbor Days Festival. The boys and I came out on Wednesday and checked out Noah's soccer tournament, evening on River Street. We also had squeezed in some playdates with Austin's buddy from preschool that lives over there. Aaron joined us on Friday and we spent the weekend enjoying the rides with the Hilley family, checking out the parade and enjoying the fireworks.

The long, hot parade. Lisa and I were ridiculously hot, but the dads were troopers and stayed with the kiddos while we went to find shade and cool down.
