One of my new book club friends is also a stay at home mom so it worked out perfectly to take a few day trips to the beach with their family. She suggested Glen Haven one day and so we tried it out and loved it! The day started off a little rough after Tonya locked her keys (and towels, and cooler, and beach toys) in her car... but with the help of a crow bar and fencing sword we were at the beach an hour later! The water was perfect and warm and the kids got along great! Definitely will hit that beach up again next year, it's a nice short walk to the car and just gorgeous.
