Brody: Toddler Hobo

I forgot to mention Brody's favorite daytime activity in my last post. Brody's favorite toys right now are what Aaron and I refer to as "Radiator Springs". It's a collection of about 14 little diecast cars from the movie CARS, 4 or 5 of which are "Lightning McQueen" (something I've learned as the mother of 3 boys, you can never have too many of one thing. In fact, the more the better). For awhile Brody attempted to carry the cars from one room to another in his small little hands, often taking several trips to ensure the whole 'town' made it. But eventually, Radiator Springs just became too large and Brody discovered that while he was busy making sure he had collected all 5 Lightning McQueen's, Jacob became interested in them too and began playing with them. It was then that he realized he needed to keep Radiator Springs unified and Brody discovered the awesomeness of the grocery cart. All day long Brody likes to fill up his grocery cart with Radiator Springs, drop them off in one room, line them all up on the floor, then pack them back up in the grocery cart and move on to the next room to do it all over again.

It cracks Aaron and I up... however, we are really hoping he grows out of this "let's pack up all my favorite possessions in a grocery cart and walk around with it" thing within a few years.
