Pics

Here are some scans of the pics we had taken at the end of November.

Things have been pretty quiet around here, although Jacob tries his best to liven things up. Today while I was trying to have a quiet phone conversation I noticed Jacob approaching me with an extremely full glass of juice (that he was trying to put the top on). I instantly realized this was a bad situation and hurried to the kitchen to find a chair pulled up to the counter and orange juice all.over.the.place. I had to give him credit though. He managed to even get his own cup down and pour a cup FULL of orange juice. Thank god the OJ was only partially full, sheesh!
I think I forgot to mention some mischief that Jacob got into a few weeks ago as well when Brody was having some issues with his top two teeth. I was doing something for Brody (nursing? getting him dressed? Something.) and I came out to the living room to get Jacob dressed. As I started putting his pants on, I realized Jacob's leg was all sticky. So I smelled it and realized it was a very familiar scent... MOTRIN. My eyes quickly scanned the room and I spot the cap on the coffee table. Then, I see the bottle by his train. I run over to it and find it completely empty. First I start telling Jacob how naughty he is, then I realize I need more information from him so I start being nice. Initially, I was thinking I had a big sticky mess somewhere on the carpet and then it dawned on me... he drank it. So I ask him and sure enough he smiles big and nods. Brody had about 4 or 5 doses out of it for teething issues and I could only assume Jacob ingested everything else that didn't land on his sticky leg. Luckily Poison Control informed me that even if the bottle were brand new, it was not harmful to Jacob (phew!). I'm still waiting for a visit from a social worker or something... And I'm still stumped as to how he opened the childsafe cap. I filled the empty bottle with water and gave it to Jacob to see if he could do it again, but he handed it back to me like "uh, no thanks mom... I'm good." So either he is really clever or the cap wasn't on correctly.
First wild mushrooms, now overdosing on pain meds... and he is only 2. I am in trouble. Big trouble.
In Brody news, Brody has said his first word: Bob. I think someone misses Robert... (or Roberts dad).
