Merry Christmas!

Last Weekend Recap:
At the very last minute (7pm) we decided to pack up the kids and head down to Kim and Peggy's house on Thursday night instead of Friday because of a large storm that was forecasted. And although it was crazy getting ready so fast and the kids are totally off schedule now (and want to stay up until midnight), we are SO glad we did! They certainy did get a large amount of snow and it was windy, snowy and icy. Luckily, by the time of the game the roads weren't too bad and we made our way there. Kim and Peg had the hook up and knew exactly where to park to walk in to the closest door, right at our seats (and the food and the restrooms)- it couldn't have worked out more perfect! Both boys loved the game, although Jacob was a little slow to warm up to everything (he fell asleep in the car), but shockingly they both made it through the entire game! Aaron said Jacob had some anxiety issues when we first got there, because he had to go to the bathroom like 4 times in the first period! And worst of all, Jacob would ONLY go with Aaron... of course the only one who really wanted to watch every second of the game. But everything worked out great - the griffins won and there was lots of scoring (5-2 I think?), so that was especially exciting. Oh yeah, and dollar beer and brats weren't bad, either!! We almost scored a t-shirt and a water bottle (we'll get them next time, Peggy!) but Brody did make in on the big screen! Aaron thought it was a great way to spend his 36th b-day... fun, fun - thanks Kim & Peg!
Saturday was our Family Christmas at my cousin Marnie's house and the boys had a blast! I hardly saw Jacob at all that day - he was off playing with the other kids and all the toys. And for that matter, I didn't see Brody much either! He was busy being passed around - which he loved, of course. The food was fab and we brought back a little Christmas gift exchange that we haven't done in a few years and that was fun.
Tonight we are going over to celebrate Christmas Eve with Jason & Janet (and their son Jack). We'll spend the night at home and then spend Christmas morning together and then it is off to my parents to celebrate with Mark, Lisa and Family and then Friday to Aaron's parents. Should be fun and the boys are going to be totally spoiled.
Merry Christmas everyone!

WOw, what a busy week you've had! So nice to see all the family though. But all the snow! Whew! I really miss the Wolverton Christmas more than anything. Mom and Roger got a video cam for the puter and since my new laptop has one built in, we both got on
Skype last night and were able to see and talk to each other for free! How cool is that? We are gonna love this technology! Have a safe and fun weekend - Merry Christmas!
