You learn there is a difference between Matchbox cars and Hot wheels. They are not the same. They aren't even the same size. Who knew?
You know you are the mom of a potty training toddler when...
You know where the restroom is in every store. In every restaurant. Everywhere. And I would like to add that I do NOT appreciate that the Target restroom has to be at the complete opposite end of the store as the toy department. Not cool...
Anyone have any others they would like to add?

I've been feeling blah the past two days. Maybe the weather? For some reason I am having a hard time getting excited about Halloween. I WANT to be excited about it, but I'm just not. I haven't even found a costume for Jacob yet. And yesterday, when it was pouring down rain, I secretly wished it would be like that on Halloween so that we won't have to do anything.
On a more positive note, I have a good story to tell. Last week I took the boys grocery shopping, but as we arrived at the store I realized Brody had just fallen asleep. Usually I bjorn (sling) him and put Jacob in the cart, but that would have surely woken Brody up and he really needed this nap. So I took my chances and put Brody (in his carseat) in the front of the stroller and asked Jacob to walk alongside of me. We walked into the store and immediately went to the candy aisle for my reward/bribe for good behavior (a sucker) and then proceeded on. I was so pleased with Jacob, for about 1/2 of our trip, he held onto the cart and followed me along. The other half, he refused to hold the cart but continued to stay with me and behave. And, he even let me know when he had to go potty! I was very proud.

Hey! Thanks for the note! Oh, I remember the days of bringing kids to the store...I avoid it like the plague now! LOL Actually, Friday night is often my night 'out', i.e. getting groceries. I'll take what I can get.
I'm so proud of Jacob and his pottying habits! That's awesome! I'm thinking Connor wants me to get my money's worth on these cloth dipes and will stay in them until Kindergarten. Ugh. Beware though...Steph was in pull ups for night thru age 6!! I thought I thought that stage would never end. Max, on the other hand, wouldn't even sit on any potty until just after his 3rd b-day and a week later he was totally trained. Zack still has accidents! That's getting old as well.
Sorry, my delete (posted with the wrong blogger account):
Oh, I learned where all the restrooms were in town while I was pregnant. So I'm keeping that information in the back of my mind for when Sean starts potty training, LOL!
