Jacob's Best Friend

I forgot to post these picture from this summer. They are of Jacob and Cori. Jacob just adores her and they have so much fun together. Most of the time anyway. Last Thursday we hosted one of our family dinners and the favorite quote of the night was when Cori said "Jacob, stop doing that or I am going to have to hurt you!!" Poor Cori is the only girl in our group of friends and the boys often forget that. When Jacob was trying to wrestle with Cori, we instructed him to go wrestle with Jack instead. So what happened? Jack went up and smacked Cori. Aye!

I've been loving these family dinners. It has been so nice to get some social interaction for the kids AND the adults! I will say though, I'm not very confident with my cooking skills for 3 people and when it comes to 12 - Agh! It can be stressful! But, so far things have been going over very well, phew!
