Annoyed.

So Brody and I both have more skin infections. Don't know what they are. Don't know where they are coming from. I have strange bumps and a low grade fever. Went to my doctor yesterday and she did a couple cultures and gave me an antibiotic. Then I went to Brody's doctor and put in a message to see his pediatrician. Thinking that we might have the same thing and are just giving it back and forth to each other (in which case I want us both on antibiotics at the same time). Stayed in town until after 5pm, in case the doctor called and said he could see him after hours. Never heard back. Today, I called and asked the status... sure enough doctor responded to the message and said to get Brody in, even if it was after hours. Yet, I had to call to find this out. Nice. So I take him in and he feels confident that we do NOT have the same problem and that Brody just has another case of folliculitis. He was also shocked that neither of the TWO doctors I saw for the staph infection in September did a culture, which is totally annoying to me. Then he says he will fax in my prescription. Additionally, during our appointment Jacob decided to try to unroll the paper roll that covers the exam table (just like he does to our toilet paper roll at home) and then throws a major tantrum when I make him stop. In front of the doctor. Embarrassing and awkward. So then it is off to the mall where we were supposed to meet up with Kyra so she could borrow a game and the kids could play at the playland. Unfortunately, we get there to learn that Cori has already spent an hour in the playland and they have to get going. Which is totally fine, except I was there at the time we planned on and I've been telling and bribing Jacob all day that if he is a good boy he will get to play with Cori at the playland. F*ck. Think he will correlate the paper roll incident with why he didn't get to play with Cori? Ya... me either. So then it is off to Walgreens to pick up Brody's medicine. Except they never received the fax. Luckily (for the first time that day), they gave me a paper copy of it. So I turn that in and she says "When do you want to pick it up, we are running thirty mins?" So I tell her 30 mins. Then she says, "Oh, I guess it's an hour now." Lovely. If I had known the damn thing wasn't faxed in the first place, I would have dropped it off BEFORE we headed to the mall. Town was a zoo, and we've already been running around the last thing I wanted to do was sit around for an hour. Needless to say, Brody will NOT be starting his antibiotics today.
In addition to that nonsense, I am also worried about my brother. We are coming up on the anniversary of my dad's death and he is having some relationship issues and stuff, too.
Off to research strange skin infections.
