Christmas cookies and Gingerbread houses!
We ate dinner at Great Wolf Lodge with Aaron's parents for his birthday. It works out well since it's so kid friendly and the boys loved seeing the holiday decor.
We had some snow in December, but most of it was gone by Christmas.
The boys enjoyed it while it lasted though. Here is Jacob and Austin:
Austin went Ice Skating with his enrichment class. We were super late for the first class because I went to the wrong rink first. But he picked it up pretty quickly and did great. I helped him out the first week and then Aaron came the 2nd week.
The boys had some Christmas Party festivities at their school. Aaron came and helped out in Jacob's class and Austin and I helped in Brody's. Our job was helping kiddos decorate (and not eat!) Christmas cookies! They were able to eat their cookies right before recess, but it was VERY difficult for some first graders to wait! After the class festivities we made our way to the gym where each class performed a Christmas song. Jacob's class used their homemade instruments from a sound project. Jacob is to the right of the girl with the yellow guitar box.
Brody is below in the middle wearing red plaid. They did a reindeer twist that was so cute and funny!
