Apparently Brody doesn't like Amoxicillin, either

Brody had a rough few weeks starting right before Thanksgiving.  He came down with a cold that was bad at first, better over thanksgiving, then worse again Saturday after Thanksgiving.  Then Sunday night he woke up crying saying his ears hurt.  So we took him to the pediatrician the next day and he was diagnosed with two ear infections.  He did his course of 10 days of antibiotics, and then naturally he woke up with a fever on the 11th day.  On day 12 he was throwing up, but thankfully it was shortlived.  Then his eye looked like this:

Aaron said he and Austin were wrestling, so I brushed it off until the next day when he started looking like this:

And then his belly looked like this:

So it definitely appears to be an allergic reaction and since we didn't expose him to any new foods, soaps, etc. the likely culprit is the amoxicillin.  After a little benadryl and 24hrs he was back to normal.  Poor guy!  Happy to report the second half of December was much healthier for him!
