We had a nice weekend that seemed to go by way too fast! Aaron went snowboarding after work Friday and then I picked him up on our way to my parents since they watched the kids for us on Sat. morning when we attended the part II of our seminar. We enjoyed it as much as Thursday night, but I was hoping for a little bit more real life examples on how to handle certain situations. Oh well... I think our church will be doing some group study discussions on his teachings, so maybe we will get involved with that and find more answers there. If nothing else, we will at least meet more parents! After the seminar, we went to lunch with Mark and Lisa and it was great to be out with another couple and no kids - thanks mom & dad for watching the kids!! Then it was back to the parents house for a laid back afternoon of cards with mom, Mark and Lisa and then some late night hot tubing for Aaron and I in the VERY snowy weather. It was fun and we always have good conversation in there! Sunday we woke up to a surprise when we discovered Noah was back at the parents house and sadly learned that poor Mason was rushed to the ER early that morning after he developed a terrible cough that was blocking his airway :( He was diagnosed with croup and sent home later that afternoon after a steroid shot. We are sending lots of good thoughts and prayers his way for a speeding recovery. Poor thing, he has been poked and prodded way too much for such a little guy. Jacob LOVED having the extra time to play with Noah though. And, I'm loving how well those two are getting along these days, it's SO cute! Aaron and I, once again, left all the kids with Grandma while we attended church. Then we packed up and headed home. Aaron went snowboarding and enjoyed all the snow we've received and Jacob and I made some delicious Soft Ginger Cookies - I highly recommend the recipe!
Not too much going on this week, aside from getting Brody's 1st Birthday invitations ordered and weaning him from breastfeeding! Hopefully I accomplish at least one of those...
