Exhausted

Jacob, that is. Jacob had a great birthday and birthday party and is still trying to recover. He has had two 12hr nights in a row (usually he has about 10hr nights) and then yesterday he took a 3hr 45min nap!

The party was great, it was nice to hang out with friends and family. The food was delicious, thanks mom! I think Jacob's favorite part of the party was when he discovered a puddle and ran back and forth splashing, having a ball! Something mom would ONLY let him get away with during his birthday party! Jacob didn't care for the cake too much. He really didn't like the way the frosting felt in his fingers and eventually just picked up the whole piece and threw it on the floor. He DID enjoy the punch that Grandpa was feeding him though!

Here are some pictures from the day....

Guess Jacob thought he needed a little alone time here:

Thanks for looking!

Thanks to Grandpa his green shirt will always have red spots down the front.
It was a very fun day and those who haven't been there, the road where Jacob is walking is a private drive.

I'm glad to see that the birthday boy likes his swing!

Great pics! Looked like he had a great day! Oh my, the puddles...drives me crazy when my boys have to stomp thru them. Are boys just drawn to puddles or what?? I was thinking last Sunday I couldn't believe Connor was going to be 1 next week, then it hit me...today's Jacob's b-day!
Now, how exactly did you put the videos in here? I tried using the same place you use but it goes to their site to run the video. Yours plays right from the page your content is on. I wonder what I'm doing wrong?
I also wanted to say I was glad to see you were able to cut down a couple days of work. How's that working out? I bet it's nice being home but are the days at work crazy?

Hey! I figured out the video by accident! Woohoo! I'm not nearly as dumb as I thought I was!
