We hosted my family for Thanksgiving for the first time and it went pretty well! The turkey was still a little frozen despite several days in the fridge, but it cooked in plenty of time. The other hiccup was that we had an issue with our satellite and lost the game partway through! A call to directv and a few minutes later things were back on. We ended up decorating for Christmas a few days before Thanksgiving since we had a lot going on the other weekends and Thanksgiving was pretty late this year.
