Disney!

It was 45 degrees outside when we arrived to Disney and I was *really* hoping it might mean a smaller crowd, but we weren't so lucky!  Parking alone took forever and then it seemed to be one line after another.  I had originally planned on getting a stroller for the boys to use when they got tired but it was so crowded in just the walking areas there was no way we could have gotten through with any speed.  I think Brody enjoyed his birthday nonetheless, but it was WAY too crowded for Mom, Dad and Jacob!  In one of the first lines we were in waiting for the monorail Jacob said with a heavy sigh "This is EXACTLY why I didn't want to come here".  He is SOOOOO not the average kid.

Brody got a generous gift card for his birthday from Nonna and Grandpa so he picked out a few new lightning cars and then also got Austin a new cheetah.

They were quite proud of their loot.

I think our lunch with Winnie the Pooh and friends was the biggest hit.  Jacob sat at the back of the table and was a little shy.  He whispered to me "Mom, we know they are just people in costumes, right?" I couldn't tell if he was double checking that was correct or if he was worried I thought it was the REAL Winnie the pooh!

A lot of people I know say they like to save Disney until their kids can remember it... but one look at Austin's face when he first saw the characters meant so much to Aaron and I... it was so amazing to see how his face lit up in delight.

We took the ferry back!
