The wall behind the dresser (which the previous residents left behind) was made of solid wood and the prior residents plastered in between the logs and then added several layers of wallpaper and paint on top. We ended up putting wood paneling over top of their handy work.
The attic is where we'll keep most of the boys toys. It's also unheated but since heat rises hopefully it will remain comfortable this winter! It's a bit of a mess, but here it is!

How does Jacob like his own room? I bet you love the play area nice not to have to always keep it picked up! Congrats on the new house!
