Brody is FIVE!!!

My sweet little guy turned five on Tuesday!  He was SO EXCITED!  I said to him "Brody, I can't believe you are five now!" and he replied "I can't believe it myself, mom!"  So sweet.  He weighed 39lbs and was 41" at the doctors office (didn't get percentiles) and thankfully no shots!  Doctor didn't have any concerns other than maybe with speech, but Brody (and Austin) like to do this REALLY annoying/embarrassing thing wear they talk silly with strangers.  The doctor asked him questions where he had to think more (counting, etc) and his speech suddenly improved so he said he wasn't too concerned.  He broke my heart a little bit though when the nurse asked him his favorite color he replied:  Blue.  His favorite color is definitely purple or pink, but I think he's finally giving in to the pressure of society (read:  Brothers/preschool/dad) where boys are supposed to like blue :(  I hope this kids spirit always shines because he is something special.
