Brody is potty trained?

Ya... I'm not sure quite how it happened though. We started off slow a few weeks ago with just putting him in underwear if he didn't want to wear a diaper. If he didn't fuss about a diaper though, I just kept him in diapers since I wasn't quite ready to deal with it yet. I kind of thought we were a few weeks off from aggressive potty training and then today Brody showed me he kind of has this whole potty training thing down. First, I didn't change his diaper right away this morning. It was about an hour after we woke up and we were eating breakfast. He came over stole my toast and put it on his plate then tried to tell me something and ran away. He came back extremely frustrated with me and I still couldn't tell what he was trying to say. I pointed out his toast to him which only enraged him more. Finally I understood a word - "PEE". Duh! So I followed him to the bathroom and removed his dry diaper and let him go pee. He then insisted on underwear so I went with it but completely forgot 10 seconds later. Luckily, Brody has this thing down and came to me 3 times during the day telling me either "pee" or "toots" and had no accidents! Amazing! Brody is so confident in his new skill that he protested greatly to his night time diaper. Poor kid! I'm holding my breath hoping this isn't a fluke... could it really be this easy?!?

I am so, so jealous! Hope he keeps it up.

Put me in the jealous camp too. Adam has NO interest. He'll wear undies and hold it all in, but has a fit if anyone mentions the word "potty" to him. Stubborn, stubborn boy.
