Looks like another one for TEAM BLUE!!!!! The little man was not shy at all! Our ultrasound went really well. We got a good, informative technician, which really makes the experience that much more enjoyable. Austin/Brody? is measuring a couple days ahead - 20w3d with a due date of 3/24/08, but usually they don't change your original due date unless it is off by more than 2wks. He currently weighs 12oz (Jacob only weighed 10oz at his big u/s). He looks very healthy and was very active! He does look pretty cramped up in there though, he was kissing his knees with his feet way up over his head! My placenta is in the front, which explains why it took so long for me to feel the little bugger. The only cause for concern is that my placenta is less than 1cm away from my cervix. The technician said that I will probably end up with another ultrasound around 7-8 months to see if it has moved, so send some prayers that it DOES move and away from the cervix! Julie - your insight? What do you think this means for my chances of having a vaginal delivery?
I'll try to scan some photos in tomorrow.

Just going through this it gives me goose bumps, CONGRATS. I am so excited for you guys. Maybe being out numbered just means more pampering for mom, pedis and manis and shopping? Again my vote is Brody!!! Best Wishes through the rest of your pregnancy. Can't wait to see pics of the little man and the continuing belly pics!

Congrats!! I kind of had a hunch it was a boy as well...go figure! But I'm happy to he's healthy and growing nicely! Woohoo!
It's interesting that so many techs get parents worked up about a 'low lying placenta'. Your uterus is still growing with baby, right? 9 out of 10 placentas continue to grow upward so don't worry. I was told that at least a couple times. The most worry would be if the placenta was over the cervix. I'd say everything will be fine ;-) Go blue! Just think, you have all the boy stuff: toys, clothes, etc. NEXT time you can try for that girl ;-) LOL
One more boy and grandma will have a Basketball team. Yea Won't they be fun when they are all together.
I love your mom's comment about the basketball team....funny!!!
Congrats!! Same gender families are the best!! :)
