More about July... and some August info

The day we found out we were pregnant I got to see my friend Shannon, who moved to AZ last summer. It was great to hang out with her and go shopping in the stores I drive by every day, but many of which I have never been in! And I think I may have gotten a lucky belly rub from her 5month belly, because of the good news we discovered that evening! It's amazing how it can be months or years since you have seen a friend, but when you get together again, it's like you still get together all the time. Anyways, she is doing great and she and Joe seem very happy together.

We ended July with a Switzer family reunion. The majority of attendees were his family from NJ, who are all pretty fun and laid back. Being just 5 weeks pregnant though, sucked. It was not fun to be around everyone drinking, campfires, etc. Plus, I was chasing after a 14month old who was trying to get into all of the coolers and EVERY alcoholic glass or can that was left unattended - which was a lot. I survived though, but I think I've secured my place in the family as 'the bitch'.
