Baby Austin's First Pictures...

Trying to break free...
Last Belly Pics... Can you believe there was a 9+lbs baby in there??

Umm, ya... the epidural only provided relief for my stitches! I had another 2nd degree tear, same place as the other two boys!

He's Here!

Doctor broke my water at 5:35, I was 3cm and 60%, I immediately had massively painful contractions. Epidural at 6:30 and Austin arrived at 6:46! He weighs 9lbs 4oz and is 20.25" long! He's adorable in every way :)
Starting to contract... not a lot of rhythm to them though and not very painful. Aaron shaved and is napping and already bored, lol. 2 more hours till I'm unhooked...

Updated @ 1:30.... nothing going on, but I'm off the monitor :) Waiting on the doctor to arrive and thinking this is going to take longer than with Brody. Aaron is already ready to go home.

Updated @ 4:15... Saw doctor around 2pm and had no progress. She inserted more cytotec and I had a good contraction pattern for awhile, but things seem slow again :sigh:. Doctor will recheck around dinner time.

Live from L&D...

Yeah for laptops and wireless! We arrived at the hospital around 7:30am and I had the cytotec inserted around 8am. I'm still 1-2cm and thick, so hopefully this works some magic. The new policy is to monitor me for 4 straight hours after insertion so I'll be lying in bed for awhile :/ Thank goodness for tv and internet! My iv has already been started and thankfully it was pretty easy this time (I have bad veins and its usually a major process). So now we sit and wait...

We stayed at my parents last night in hopes that the boys would sleep in, but they totally knew something was up! Both boys were wide awake at 6:30am (they usually get up around 8:30)! Hopefully they aren't too cranky for my mom today...

Eviction Notice: Served.

Baby Boy,

Tenant has 7 days in which he can either gather his belongings and vacate the premises, or wait until the final day. After which he will be physically removed from the property. He is being evicted due to a breech of contract and destruction of property. Expansions only to the front of the property, within reasonable limits, were discussed. Not only have these limits been exceeded, but additions to the back of the property were also made. Remodeling and gutting the property was never approved, nor was changing the initial layout and base structure. And due to property damage, there are now leaks in both upper and lower levels of the property. Also, late night parties have been discovered on the property and are not greatly appreciated! Any further problems will result in immediate removal!

The date has been set! Austin's induction is scheduled for December 30 at 7:30 a.m.! My 38 week appointment today didn't go quite as expected, though. I arrived at my scheduled time (2:45) and learned that my doctor was at the hospital with a patient who was 7cm and they didn't know if or when she would be back and gave me three options: wait, reschedule for the next day with the male doctor I don't like or just show up at the hospital in a week for my induction. I went out to the car to explain our options to Aaron (he was waiting with the boys for my mom) and his response was "sweet, let's see them next week!". My response to that was to burst into tears. Even though I've had an uneventful pregnancy, it gave me major anxiety to just show up at the hospital after not seeing the doctor for two weeks. (That and I'm a hormonal pregnant lady.) After all, there is a reason they see you weekly during your last month, right? Aaron hates waiting for our doctor so I knew he wouldn't like our first option and I was skeptical that we would end up seeing her even if we did wait two hours. Thankfully Aaron wasn't opposed to waiting, so we went inside and by the time we walked back in the receptionist had heard from the doc and she was on her way in - phew!

Things look good with me and baby. I didn't gain any weight, fundal height was the same (40 cm), blood pressure was 110/76 and heart tones were in the 120's. No change in the cervix either, still 1cm, thick but soft and posterior. So unless baby decides to come on his own before next Wednesday, we are set to go with the induction! Hoping it goes as smoothly as Brody's did! Don't forget to add your guesses to our baby pool on the right side bar and guess Baby Austin's stats if you haven't done so already!

Hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas! We will be spending Christmas Eve with some friends snacking on way too many hors d'oeuvres for 7 people and then head home early to finish wrapping presents. Christmas morning we will open presents and have breakfast before heading over to my parents to celebrate where we will all surely be spoiled and there will be plenty of delicious food. Then on Saturday (or maybe Sunday) we'll be heading to Aaron's parents for a lot more food and spoiling. We are definitely looking forward to spending the next few days with family and friends :)

Short video from Jacob's preschool program

Here is a little clip of the kids walking into the sanctuary for their Christmas program. Jacob is the little one that walks down while holding hands with another little girl... awwwww ;)

Boys being silly together

These two can be so silly over the littlest things and it just melts my heart. Here they are cracking up over... the microwave. Yes, microwaves are very exciting, didn't you know?
