4th of July!
We checked out the fireworks at Crystal Mountain on July 3rd again this year and then enjoyed our own fireworks on the 4th. The boys loved them and were all very brave this year!
Girls' Weekend!
We moved on Sunday night, first night in our house was Monday and on Thursday I left and headed to Ann Arbor. I was Ohio-bound on my way to a girls' weekend. There are 13 of us total and 10 were able to make it! We all met several years ago when we all had the same struggle with trying to start our families and after many ups and downs we've grown close and talk daily. We all came from Wyoming, New York, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Illinois, and Maryland (and michigan and ohio) and have a fabulous two days of talking, laughing, eating and drinking. It was fabulous and the only thing that would have made it better is if our missing trio had been there too.
It worked out perfectly that I was able to break up my trip and get some Devon snuggles in! And it was so nice to visit with Kim & Peg too!

Summer: T-Ball and Camping in Manistee
Brody decided he wanted to play T-ball! It wasn't until halfway through the season, but he really likes it now! He tries to chase the ball after he hits it and gets distracted easily when playing outfield but otherwise he is doing awesome and is hilarious and so cute to watch! Jacob's doing great this year and has definitely found his niche as a 1st baseman. He's improved greatly in just about every area, it's been awesome to watch his competitive spirit come alive!

My boys - last two batters up to bat. I love how Brody has the whole bench but practically is sitting on Jacob's lap:

We had a great time camping at Orchard Beach State Park! The campground sits on a bluff and the views were gorgeous! It was windy and chilly the first night and a little foggy but otherwise good weather!
The boys enjoyed playing with the dead alewives and they even found one baby salmon (that wasn't born in a hatchery).
